Where are Doc's Reading Glasses Painted?

A USA company hand paints my reading glasses and they have been
producing these wonderful and unique items for years.
How do I Select the Proper Power for my
Reading Glasses?

The best thing you can do is to put on a pair of readers (that you know the
power of). Then move reading material with small print closer and further away
to find the location that the print is the clearest.
If the paper is too far away from you, select a higher power number. If the
paper is too close, select a lower power. Keep in mind reading glasses used for
the computer screens require lower powers than those used for reading.
Here are some rough guidelines based on age.
Power Selection Table by Age:*
40-43: +1.00 or +1.25
43-48: +1.50 or + 1.75
48-53: +2.00 or +2.25
53 & up: +2.25 to +3.00
*Please keep in mind that the closer you like to hold things for your habitual
working distance, or reading distance, the higher the power that you will need.
The Hand Painted Reading
Glasses I Received Look a Little Different from the Picture on your Website.

My hand painted reading glasses are unique. It is very common for them not to
look exactly like the picture on this website. My pictures are a close facsimile
of the unique reading glasses you will receive. The painting may appear slightly
different, so too the shape may appear slightly different. We hope that you
appreciate the individuality of them; separating them apart from mass produced
reading glasses.
What do I do if I didn't make the Correct Item Number
and/or Power Selections in my Order?

Please contact us as soon as possible by using going to our Contact Me page.
Are My Online Purchases Secure?

Your purchases are completed by using PayPal's secure servers. PayPal uses SSL
secured servers & industry-recognized AVS and CVV2 checks to thwart identity
theft. Please note the closed paddle lock at the bottom of PayPal's cart window
to indicate their secure server.
Is "Doc" a real doctor?

Yes, I am a board certified Doctor of Optometry, licensed to practice in
Colorado and North Dakota. I currently practice in Cortez, Colorado in the 4
corners area.
What is My Warrantee?

Doc's Reading Glasses are carefully manufactured with the highest quality but
are not sold under any expressed warrantee.
However, if your new readers should happen to break within the first week after
receiving them, contact me and I will replace it free of charge.
Where's My Stuff?

We do not provide UPS Tracking numbers unless requested to do so by customers.
However, if you feel like your package is lost or misplaced, contact me and we

days after your payment has cleared as each item is hand painted when they are
ordered.
If My Credit Card has a P.O. Box Address, How Do I
Order?

We ship all packages by UPS Ground and therefore cannot accept P.O. boxes for
addresses. If your credit card address is a P.O. box, just enter the P.O.
Box for payment purposes but then email me with your physical address for
shipping. Also, we only ship to USA addresses.
My Sunwear's Ultraviolet Light (UV) Protection
